COLDPLAY GRACED THE UAE WITH THEIR PHENOMENAL "MUSIC OF THE SPHERES" WORLD TOUR, AND WE GOT TO ATTEND, FIRST HAND!

"The World's Greatest Tour" is a hard title to achieve, yet even with their near 200th show on this tour, Coldplay continues to prove that statement! We got the chance to attend Night 3 (January 12th) at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and what we witnessed was nothing short of magical.
Walking into the stadium, you’re immediately struck by the vibrant energy in the air. The colorful LED wristbands handed to every attendee set the tone for the night, turning the crowd into a major part of the show with synchronized glowing lights, forming a stadium full of stars.
Before Coldplay took the stage, the night kicked off with an unforgettable opening act by Elyanna and Shone, setting the tone for what was already destined to be a magical evening. Elyanna, the rising Palestinian-Chilean star, delivered a performance so electrifying it could have easily been a headlining act in its own right.
From the moment Chris Martin did his iconic countdown into "Higher Power", it was clear that Coldplay weren't just performing a gig–they were bringing the stadium to life, as the opening notes instantly expanded the audience into a kaleidoscope of sound and light. Coldplay continued to deliver an unforgettable mix of iconic classics and new hits from latest albums Moon Music and Music of the Spheres. Fan favorites like Fix You, Yellow, and Viva La Vida were met with roaring singalongs, while newer tracks like My Universe showcased their ability to evolve musically while maintaining their trademark charm with the audience.
It's seemingly impossible to acknowledge Coldplay, as a whole, without paying attention to their incredible efforts to make due with what they have–the planet. The band has remained incredibly committed to host the most sustainable, eco-friendly tour humanly possible. Coldplay’s commitment to sustainability is evident from start to finish. From biking stations, recycled materials, and kinetic floors that provide power to the stadium as you dance on them, the band have implemented simply extraordinary practices to be as sustainable as possible.
As we bared witness, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour is more than just a concert—it’s an emotional, visual, and musical fantazia that transcends beyond the idea of a traditional gig, as fans from all ages and nationalities came together, in peace, for a night of pure joy and connection. Whether you were dancing to the upbeat tempo of Paradise or shedding tears to the emotional symphony The Scientist, the collective euphoria was undeniable.
